For the past year I've been seeing videos where makeup artists are using this little spongey egg-like thing to put on their makeup. Honestly, I figured it was just another fad that would come and go but turns out, it's not going anywhere. The Beauty Blender I believe was the first one out and I never considered trying it out because it costs something like $20 or $30 and I'm not paying that for a sponge.
I visited Target recently and saw they have their own brand of these little sponges in the makeup aisle and guess what? Only $4.99! At that price, I'll try it and see what all the hoopla is about. To my surprise, I really like this sponge and I would recommend it for my clients that wear liquid foundation or concealer. The pointed tip does a great job at getting into tight spaces like the corners of your eyes. I like that it blends your makeup out nicely so you don't have to use a lot of product. Just taking a guess here but I'd imagine if you use other facial products around the eyes, this would be great to use as well so you don't use too much product. The larger end is good for other areas of the face to blend out your makeup.
I like this thing! It's better than using your fingers in my opinion. You can get it at your local Target Stores and learn more about it here. Oh and I should mention, its latex so if you have allergies to latex, ignore this entire article. :-)
