Top 3 Mistakes Lash Artists Make That Prevents Them from Attracting Clients

Recently I saw a response to a post within a Facebook group and I just HAD to say something about it.

Here's what the post said:

"Hi I need some help getting clients. I’ve been doing this for 3 years and I don’t have any regular clients and I don’t know why. I’ve never had a complaint after an appointment they just don’t return. It’s really putting me off and I’m wondering if I should just give up and do my other business full time. I do most beauty treatments. Not just lashes x"

Not being able to attract and retain clients is a super common issue within the lash industry and one that I had in the earlier part of my lash career.  And even though there’s an abundance of information out there on how to attract clients, sometimes what works for one person doesn’t work for another. Check out a couple of responses this artist received to her post.

Artist A - "Take pictures of your work and post it."

Artist B - "I feel like sometimes this industry is too saturated that some clients look for cheaper prices . Some may stay some won’t. Even having the easiest booking system to quality retention , and referral discounts and etc... I have square app booking account . My prices are pretty affordable . I have discounts also offered for referrals and etc already . I have my loyal customers , but yet still I feel my area it’s like a lash tech on every corner. The market is way too saturated."

In this week’s episode, I address the question and responses along with the top three mistakes many lash artists make that prevent them from attracting and keeping clients.
